Our Core Commodities

AfricanPods is a leading Liberian exporter specializing in two of the region's most vital natural resources. We bridge the gap between West African smallholder excellence and the global industrial supply chain.

Liberian Cocoa Beans

Liberia's equatorial climate and nutrient-rich soil produce cocoa beans with a deep, complex chocolate profile. We focus on preserving these intrinsic qualities through meticulous post-harvest management.

1. Sourcing & Ethics

Direct-from-Farm :
We source directly from organized farmer cooperatives in Liberia's cocoa belt (Bong, Nimba, and Lofa).
Zero-Deforestation :
We prioritize sourcing from farms that practice sustainable agroforestry, ensuring our cocoa meets modern environmental standards.
Fair Value :
By shortening the supply chain, we ensure more value remains with the farmers, fostering long-term community growth.

2. The AfricanPods Quality Standard

Traditional Fermentation :
Our beans undergo a monitored 6-day fermentation process in tiered wooden boxes to develop full flavor precursors.
Sun-Drying :
We exclusively use raised solar drying mats. This prevents "ground-note" contamination and ensures a uniform moisture content of 7.5%, ideal for long-distance shipping.
Aesthetic Grading :
Every bag is screened for size uniformity, ensuring a consistent roast profile for chocolatiers and industrial processors alike.

Natural Rubber (Cup Lump)

We provide high-grade Cup Lump (Field Coagulum), the essential raw material for the global tire and industrial rubber industries. Our logistical strength allows us to move large volumes while maintaining high purity.

1. Product Specifications

Dry Rubber Content (DRC) :
We consistently supply material with a 65% DRC. This high percentage represents a superior yield for factories producing TSR (Technically Specified Rubber).
Freshness & Integrity :
Our "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) collection system ensures that the cup lump remains fresh, preventing the excessive oxidation that can degrade rubber polymers.

2. Rigorous Quality Control

Contaminant-Free :
Our QC teams manually inspect collection batches to ensure they are free from "heavy bark," stones, and plastic debris.
Verification Testing :
We conduct regular DRC checks using standardized laboratory coagulation tests to ensure the cargo meets the 65% benchmark before it reaches the Port of Monrovia.
